RS Designer recently completed work on the Herston Imaging Research Facility based at Herston, Brisbane (Australia). HIRF is a joint venture between The University of Queensland (UQ), Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital (RBWH), Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and the Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR).

The Queensland PET Services located at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital houses 4 SPECT/CT, 2 PET/CT and a dedicated cardiac imaging scanner. When they recently remodelled a SPECT/CT scanner room for a PET/CT, RS Designer was there to make the shielding calculations a breeze.
